Faith Life
Trinity’s Belief Statement
Christ is the reason for this school.
He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes.
He is the model of its faculty
and the inspiration for its students.
John J. Findlater
The Catholic Identity of Trinity is a priority for the students, administration, faculty, staff, advisory board, and parents in the school community.
The Catholic Identity at Trinity is present in the physical environment of the school, stressed in Faith Formation programs, evidenced by the education in faith that crosses all curricular areas, expressed through Sacramental life, and demonstrated through meaningful experiences of the Catholic community.
RESPECT LIFE CLUB TRIP TO JEFFERSON CITY
Twenty Trinity students, Fr. Michael Houser and Campus Minister Mrs. Eileen Goeke boarded a bus to Jefferson City on the morning of March 30.
The Respect Life Club wanted to participate in the Missouri Right to Life Pro-Life Action Day. Students participated in a workshop hosted by the Missouri Right to Life organization, which spoke on the process of passing legislation, the importance of contacting state representatives and senators on Key Pro-Life Issues as well as the key issues of concern facing Pro-Life advocates.
The group from Trinity then attended a very lively rally in the Rotunda of the State Capital Building joining voices in a powerful message and stories about the need to pass legislature to protect the unborn, particularly a bill that passed the House of Representatives as the rally was taking place. This bill would guarantee all women receive information necessary to make a truly informed choice concerning abortion.
Senator Tim Green was able to introduce our group on the Senate floor, and students were able to deliver written pro-Life messages to their State Representatives and Senators. The day proved to be both informative and emotional. Learning about the process of helping advance pro life issues as well as hearning from those with valuable stories to tell about the importance of the sanctity of life proved very valuable.
