Principal's Message
May, 2012
We have reached the month of May, the last almost full month of the 2011-2012 school year. The time has passed quickly and has been filled with blessings, miracles, and challenges. With God’s help the month ahead will be full of pride, celebration, and achievement for the entire Trinity Catholic High School community.
The annual Renaissance assembly was held on April 26 and it was outstanding. The highlight of course was the recognition of this year’s Trinity Treasures. Each faculty member had the daunting task of choosing just one student as a treasure. At the end of the assembly the Student Council acknowledged and thanked Mrs. Sue McNiff and Mr. Hank Barrere for their tireless commitment to their students through many years of teaching. They will both be retiring at the end of this school year. They leave Trinity with our gratitude and blessings for all that lies ahead. Thanks to Mr. Witte, Mrs. McNiff, Mrs. Leonard, and the Renaissance Committee for providing a great assembly.
As the school year comes to a close there are many opportunities to look back and reflect on all that has been achieved. We certainly want to salute all of our Trinity Titans especially our seniors who will graduate on May 18 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. Many of our students from all classes will be acknowledged for their academic achievements at the annual awards assembly on Monday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. in our gym. This evening will include the announcement of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of 2012 as well as the seniors who will graduate with Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude honors.
Please continue to encourage your students to keep on track, to finish strong, and to remain focused. May God continue to bless our efforts.
Nancy Lydon, Principal
